Restoration Policies

CHARGES & FEES

  • Shop labor rate is $65.00 per hour. 
  • Parts are charged to the customer
  • Sublet labor and services are charged to the customer

BILLING & PAYMENT

  • Billing is done on a weekly basis for all parts, labor and services rendered.
  • An invoice listing all fees and cost incurred for services rendered will be mailed at the end of each week. Work logs for each employee will be included to document the labor time.
  • Invoices must be paid in full within 7 days of invoice date.
  • Invoices not paid by the billing date, will result in a work stoppage until paid.
  • Overdue invoices are subject to a service charge of 1.5% per month.
  • Vehicles left on premises after work completion or during unpaid invoice work stoppage are subject to a $5.00 per day storage fee.
  • Invoices may be paid in US funds by personal check, certified funds, or cash.
  • Ohio state sales tax of 6.75% must be collected for all parts and labor that is invoiced during the restoration unless the customer is the valid holder of a state resale license. A copy of the current license must be furnished at the beginning of the job for sales tax to be waived.

ESTIMATES OF RESTORATION

  • It is impossible to estimate the exact cost of a restoration at the beginning of a job. A general figure, a high and low, can be given based on previous jobs that were similar. If a written estimate is required expect them to be high enough to cover any possibilities. Restorations are performed as economical as possible without compromising the finished quality.

INSURANCE

  • Each customer must provide their own insurance to cover the value of the car. Proof of insurance must be supplied at the time the car is brought into our shop.
  • Cole’s Classics, LLC is not responsible for any damage to the vehicle including fire, theft, water, or vandalism
